Our Story

Mizzica was born from the dream of two Italians — Raffaella and Anthony — who wanted to bring the true taste of home to Perth.

For us, food has always been about family, love, and connection. We grew up with the smell of fresh espresso in the morning, the sound of laughter around the table, and the joy of sharing simple, honest food made with passion.

When we opened Mizzica, our goal was to recreate that feeling — a little corner of Sicily where everyone feels at home. From our creamy ricotta cannoli to our arancini and classic espresso, every recipe tells a story from our island, made with the same care our nonni taught us.

“Mizzica” in Sicilian means surprise, wonder, and delight — the word we say when something truly amazing happens. That’s exactly what we want you to feel when you walk through our doors — a moment of joy, warmth, and a taste of Sicily right here in Perth.
